By Bill Berg Jr, WiPH Staff, 01/24/23, 8:30AM CST

22-23 Boys Division 1 Top Six

1. Notre Dame Academy Tritons 18-0-0 1
2. Bay Port Pirates 16-3-0 2
3. Chippewa Falls Cardinals 12-4-0 3
4. Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes 11-5-1 6
5. University School of Milwaukee 12-4-0 4
6. Verona Wildcats 14-4-0

Once again there was a lot of bouncing around at the bottom of the Top Six with Eau Claire Memorial moving back up, and Hudson dropping out. Hello Verona. Nice to see you.

Notre Dame Academy is still your unanimous number one overall selection.

Also receiving votes: Brookfield, Hudson, SPASH, Superior

22-23 Boys Division 2 Top Six

1. Fond du Lac Springs Ledgers 11-6-0 1
2. New Richmond Tigers 13-3-0 2
3. Amery Warriors 13-2-0 3
4. Mosinee Indians 12-5-0 5
5. Oregon Panthers 10-7-0 4
6. Lakeland Thunderbirds 12-3-0 6

Last week Saint Mary's Springs and New Richmond were tied. This week they aren't, in fact Amery nearly took over the number two spot. Mosinee and Oregon flip-flopped on the other side of the list. New Richmond and Amery both picked up first place votes.

Also receiving votes: Baldwin-Woodville, Beaver Dam, Monona Grove, Rhinelander

22-23 Girls Top Six

1. Superior Spartans 14-3-0 1
2. Central Wisconsin Storm 13-3-0 2
3. Bay Area Ice Bears 16-2-0 3
4. Hayward Co-Op Hurricanes 13-4-0 4
5. Warbirds 14-4-0 6
6. University School of Milwaukee 13-4-1

No change in the top four, matching last week's selections. Superior was nearly a unanimous number one selection, but somebody on the WiPH staff just has to be an outlier.

The Warbirds moved up to fifth and University School reentered the rankings, knocking out the Madison Metro Lynx.

Also receiving votes: Chippewa Falls/Menomonie, Madison Metro, St Croix Valley
