The second meeting of the season between Northland Pines and Black River Falls happened on Tuesday evening. Black River Falls had an early power play opportunity, when the Eagles were accessed a 2 minute minor for hooking. Klarissa Canfield was able to score a power play goal with an assist from Zowie Hunter at 3:55 of the period. Northland Pines tied the game at 13:50 on a goal by Taylor Heleniak with Avery Renkes and Mallory Schmidt assisting on the play. Heleniak picked up her second goal twenty-one seconds later with Schmidt collecting the assist. The Eagles led 2-1 at the the end of the first period.
Black River Falls tied the game at 2:43 of the second, when Zowie Hunter and Alizah Hayes assisted on Shelby King's goal. Avery Hagen gave the Tigers the lead with an assist from Klarissa Canfield at the 3:46 mark. Zowie Hunter scored an unassisted goal for Black River Falls at 4:36 putting the Tigers up 4-2. Zowie Hunter scored the fourth straight goal for the Tigers in the second period with another unassisted goal at 7:55. Northland Pines scored a power play goal with 1:24 remaining in the second, when MacKenzie Wissbroecker found the back of the net with Mia Tulowitsky and Ava Carillo assisting. Black River Falls led 5-3 at the end of two periods.
Shelby King stretched Black River Falls lead to three with an unassisted goal at 2:57 of the third. The Eagles' Mallory Schmidt scored at 4:20 with an assist from Taylor Heleniak to make it 6-4. The Tigers' Shelby Kind completed her hat trick at 6:42 with Klarissa Canfield and Anna Janowski assisting on the goal. Shelby King closed out the scoring at 9:55 with Zowie Hunter assisting. Black River Falls wins 8-4.
