Second Period Outburst Seals Victory

Conference play seems to bring out the best in team rivalries and Thursday night was no exception. Coaches tell their players, let's concentrate on winning this period and the rest will handle itself. The Fury used that philosophy to go onto a victory over the Badger Lightning.

The first was a tripping penalty at 9:03, but the killed it off. The real problem arose with 1:02 left in the period. Badger Lightning picked up a roughing penalty at that point and at 16:16 picked up a high-sticking penalty.
