Oregon preview
The Panthers return 18 players, losing only two to graduation. They have an outstanding group that worked very hard to improve over the summer.
At forward, top returners are junior Ben Scherschel and prolific senior playmaker Austin Janssen. Lanky senior Alex Neuenschwander has excellent hands and knows how to score.
On defense, Oregon is very strong. Senior Paul Byrne is one of the top defensemen in the state, while junior Alec Vanko is a big kid with lots of ability. Senior Andy Behrend and sophomore Ethan Karls are quality defenders.
Senior Tyler Stensaas is a top-notch netminder.
The Panthers are a close-knit group that will come ready to compete every night.
