Tuesday evening the Eagles played their last home game of the season in a Section 4 first round regional game against Black River Falls. The Eagles beat the Tigers 6-3 behind two goals and an assist each from junior defenseman Dan Brennan (SPHS) and junior forward Austin Fecht (MHHS). Senior forward Gilles Bruyninx (SPHS) and junior forward Matt Erbe (MHHS) also contributed goals for the Eagles. Junior netminder Stephen Schultz was outstanding for the Eagles, stopping 30 of 33 BRF shots. The Eagles continue Section 4 regional play this Thursday when they travel to Onalaska to face the #1 seed Hilltoppers. Game time 7:30 pm.
