Six teams compete in Baldwin

As playoffs are fast approaching the varsity teams across the state, the St. Croix Valley Fusion hosted the 3rd Annual JV Clash this past weekend.

Six teams traveled to the United Civic Center in Baldwin to compete in three games each for the great season-ending event for these JV teams.  The Cap City Cougars, Central WI Storm, Fox City Stars, Western WI Stars, ECA Stars and the Fusion battled with each other Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday.

In a cross-state format, the three Western WI teams played each of the other state teams.  Three teams finished with a 2-1 record with the St. Croix Valley Fusion winning the tournament on the tie breakers established for the tournament.

Head JV Coach TJ Klund from the St Croix Valley Fusion said it best, “Winning is great, but giving all these players from across the state one last opportunity to compete this season is the biggest reward.”

A great weekend for a great game.
