Team Wisconsin squads begin 'pre' play for 2018-19 campaign

Seven boys and girls teams commence fall play

Four boys teams and a trio of girls squads have skated into action for the 'pre' portion of the 2018-19 'pre-post' season for Team Wisconsin.

Below is a brief preview...

boys

U14 is coached by Matt Walsh, Chase Drake and Matt Paape. They began play last weekend and will finish up their season at the Nike Bauer tournament in Chicago the weekend of November 2-4.

15o is led by Dan Francis, Bob Schroeder and Erik Larabell. The 15 only squad started in late August and has a current record of 9-1. Their season ends November 4 at the Nike Bauer tourney in Chicago.

U16 has Craig Johnson, Paul Caufield and Marcus Johnson on the coaching staff. They began their season on August 31 and have compiled a mark of 6-4 thus far. They will finish the season in Fairbault, MN on November 4.

U18 is coached by Brad Byce, Mike Schwengler and Brent Whiteside. Their season began on September 8 and will finish with a league tournament the weekend of October 26-28 in New Hope, MN.

Girls

U14 is led by John Byce and Krystal Strassman. They began their season on August 24 and have won two of ten games in the early going. They will terminate their 'pre' campaign on November 3 against the Chicago Young Americans at the Orbit Ice Arena in Palatine, IL.

U16 has Mike Sullivan and Jeff Jablonski as the coaches. The team is 0-6 in the early going and will end their season October 26-28 at the Two Nations tourney in Detroit.

U19 has Dave Witting and Breanna Seibel as the coaches. They are 3-2-1 thus far and will finish on November 3 against the Madison Capitols.
