MONTREAL - After being selected in the fourth round, 123rd overall by the Canadiens in June, 18-year-old left-winger Jack Gorniak headed home to Wisconsin to continue preparing for his first season in the NCAA ranks.
We recently caught up with the American forward, who is eagerly anticipating the start of his collegiate career.
You're heading into your freshman year at the University of Wisconsin. How's life in Madison treating you so far?
JACK GORNIAK: It's been great. We work out five times per week and then skate anywhere from three to four times per week. I'm taking one summer class - English - Monday through Thursday. It's been good just getting to know the guys and getting used to being on campus.
