Comeback after 3-0 deficit too little, too late

WEHL Team WI fell behind 3-0 in the second period Sunday to the Highland Park Falcons and although they made a brilliant comeback, they fell a bit short in a 3-2 loss in the USA Nationals quarterfinals in Wayne, NJ.

After a third straight goal, TW goalie Joey Greilich came out for Patrick Kelly.

Eight minutes later, Cam Beek scored to cut the lead to 3-1.

TW worked hard, but was unable to score until Peyton Hart's goal in the third with just 11 seconds left accounted for the final score.

The Falcons held a narrow 31-25 shot edge in the game. Greilich (12) and Kelly (16) combined for 28 saves for TW.
