Max Moore scored twice, Jack Chilson added a goal and a helper, and goalie Broderick VanDenHeuvel stopped 28 shots in the Green Bay Bobcats pool play game on Saturday in the Tier II U18 USA Nationals tourney at Cornerstone.

The Bobcats defeated the McKinney North Stars 5-2.

McKinney had an early lead, but Moore scored on the power play midway through the first to tie the game. A minute later, McKinney pulled ahead 2-1 on a Chris Wyse goal.

The rest was all Green Bay.

Grant Tritabaugh, Moore, Chilson, and Caleb Johnson all scored in the second to account for the 5-2 final.

Shots were even at 30 apiece in the contest.

The Bobcats lost to Team Copper Country 3-1 Thursday and to the Wonderland Wizards by a similar score on Friday before Saturday's big win over the North Stars.
