Nikki Olund (Hudson) scored twice and added an assist in leading the Blackcats to a 3-0 victory over the Steel City Select team Thursday morning at the New England Sports Center.

Quinn Winkoski (Hudson) scored on a 5-on-3 power play for the 'Cats in the middle of the first period to give them a 1-0 lead that they would not relinquish. Olund had an assist on the play.

Olund scored in the middle of the second, with an assist to Jade Williams (Western WI Stars), to give the 'Cats a 2-0 lead.

The final score came with just over a minute left in the middle period by Olund, with a helper to Sydney Hahn (Western WI Stars).

Sydney Seeley (St. Croix Valley) stopped all 17 shots she faced for the Blackcats, while Selects goalie Jenna Pacich made 29 saves in the loss.
