Junior forward topped tourney field in goals, PP goals, and +/- rating

Maybe Cole Danielson wasn't one of the biggest names on the state champion Hudson Raiders team, but he was a big part during the regular season, scoring 35 points to rank fourth on the team in scoring.

The junior forward is known to his teammates, and now will be better known to the rest of the state as he earned MVP honors in the WiPH/Media All-State Tournament team, as announced today.

Danielson ranked second in state tourney scoring with six points; first in goals scored (5); first in power play goals with two; and first in plus/minus with a +6.

The Raiders beat St. Mary's Springs 7-1 on Quarterfinal Thursday, beat Verona 4-1 in the semifinals, and whipped EC Memorial 7-1 in the state title game.
