Avalanche Coach Franzini Announces Retirement

Long time High School hockey Head Coach Tim Franzini has announced publicly on Coulee Region Sports Network that he will be retiring from his Head Coaching position with the Avalanche Hockey Co-Op at the end of the 2017'18 season.

Coach Franzini is in his 31st year of coaching High School hockey in the Coulee Region and his 10th as the Avalanche Head Coach. Tim's all time coaching record is (492-263-23) The current Avalanche record is (16-5-0) overall and (6-1-0) in the MVC where they are tied for 1st place with Onalaska.

Coach Franzini has worked as a Head Coach in La Crosse, Onalaska boy's & girls teams and most recently with the Holmen/Aquinas/Luther Avalanche Hockey Co-Op.

Included in this release is a short interview with Coach Franzini. Tim plans to spend more time with his grand kids and his passion of hunting & fishing. Coach Franzini would also be open to volunteer assisting or scouting in the future.
