Third annual game will donate proceeds to Relay for Life

From Homestead Coach Tony Navarre, a cancer survivor:

On January 23rd we have our annual game against USM. As both programs have been impacted by cancer, we decided to make this a Coaches vs. Cancer game.

This will be the third game played by these two teams wearing special uniforms. All of the money raised at this event goes to Relay for Life.

Schedule

  • USM-Homestead JV boys play at 4pm
  • Lakeshore Lightning play USM girls at 6pm
  • USM-Homestead varsity boys face-off at 8pm 

It always ends up being a very fun event (and very competitive). We also try to honor someone associated in the fight against cancer (doctor, someone fighting, etc)
