The 2011 State Tournament MVP was Austin Priebe of Wausau West. Austin opened the tournament with a 27 save shutout of the New Richmond Tigers.

Priebe followed with a spectacular 35 save, 3 goal-against performance against the powerful Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes. The game was a rematch, and vindication for the Warriors, who lost to Eau Claire Memorial twice in the regular season, including a 2-0 loss while Priebe was in net.

Priebe finished the tournament with a 29 save, no goals against performance against the Middleton Cardinals. Priebe was not credited with a shutout, as senior goaltender David Knetter played the last 4:52 for the Warriors (to raucous applause).

Priebe was the unanimous first team goalie selection and your tournament MVP.
