Sports postponements trickling in slower than school closings

It appears as if many southern Wisconsin high schools are following the recommendation of the WIAA and playing their games tonight

 It appears as if many southern Wisconsin high schools are following the recommendation of the WIAA and playing their games tonight, as scheduled, despite widespread school closures and ongoing protests at the state Capitol over Gov. Scott Walker's budget repair bill.

At least a dozen area districts, including Madison, called off school for today in anticipation of staff absences. Only two districts who called off classes (Verona and Edgerton) have announced the postponement of after-school activities.
