BOYS

Minnesota Seniors 8, HP-18 Wisconsin 5

Minnesota grabbed an early 4-0 lead and although Wisconsin cut the lead to two goals twice, they couldn't get any closer as a wild third period (eight goals--four by each team) led to the 8-5 loss.

TW was led by Josh Bohlin with two goals. Jacob Dirks, Hutson Collins, and Eric Sinson each added a score. Dylan Brown chipped in a pair of assists.

TW held a 30-26 shot edge, with Colin Ahern (10) and Peter Genatempo (8) combining for 18 saves.

Wisconsin Seniors 4, HP-18 Michigan 1

TW started slow but finished big, scoring three times in the final period en route to the 4-1 victory.

Matthew Gruber scored the first of two goals in the second to give TW a 1-0 lead. Sam Hanson and Hunter Schwehr scored early in the third before Gruber made it 4-0 with less than three minutes to play. Michigan broke up the shutout a minute later to account for the final.

TW held a 33-20 shot edge, with Ryan Kenny stopping 19 in the win.

GIRLS

Wisconsin 4, Northern Midwest 1

Northern Midwest jumped out to an early lead, but it was TW the rest of the way as the Badger ladies scored two each in the last two periods for a 4-1 win.

Amanda Sergent and Samantha Young each scored in the second, while Morgan Zirbel and Alexis Nelson closed out the scoring in the third.

TW won the shot advantage 36-15. Rebecca Binder (9) and Ana Holzbach (5) combined to stop 14 of 15 in earning the win.

BOYS

Wisconsin 10, Washington 1

Wisconsin got goals from eight different players in a 10-1 laugher in Pittsburgh. Alex Timm and Aslan Akervik each scored twice, while Braden LaPorte, Justin Gibbons, Tyler Husnick, Jack Anderson, Steve Scheurer, and Baily Aegerter each scored once.

Dylan Cox and Husnick each had a playmaker, while Spencer Challe had a pair of helpers.

Wisconsin held a huge 41-12 shot edge. Jack Bostedt (9) and Mitchell Hammes (2) teamed up to stop 11 of 12 shots.
