When Joe Aiken went out for the Whitefish Bay/Nicolet/Shorewood hockey team as a sophomore, his friends on the football team couldn't help but give him a hard time.

At the time, Aiken says he was probably 5-foot-8 and 115 pounds.

It was also Maco Balkovec's first year as head coach.
