After five weeks in the top spot, the Wausau West Warriors took their first loss of the season on Thursday at home against Eau Claire Memorial in our Game of the Week. The loss knocks West out of the top spot for the first time this season.
The Old Abes knocked off then #2 Superior in the second week of the season, and now they've knocked off #1 Wausau West to slide into the top spot themselves.
Notre Dame Academy out shot Sheboygan 35-14, but still took a surprising 3-2 loss to drop from #3 to #6.
Ashwaubenon picked up wins this week over De Pere and Beaver Dam to leapfrog Marquette (who did not play) and Notre Dame Academy to take over the #3 spot.
Marquette, with no games held steady at #4. Stoughton moved up to #5 with no games the previous week, on the Notre Dame loss.
Superior and Waupaca held steady at #'s 7 and 8 respectively. Green Bay United moved from #10 to #9 in the spot vacated by Oregon.
Middleton jumped back into the Top Ten for the first time since the pre-season rankings with a win over Honorable Mention Beloit Memorial.
