Madison Edgewood, Stoughton and Oregon are all fighting for supremacy in the stacked Badger South conference.
Stoughton and Edgewood have been on the Wisconsin Prep Hockey Top Ten all year, but Oregon was late to the party and cracked the Top Ten in week three.
With conference play underway look for these three teams to knock each other around as they vie for the top spot in the Badger South. Oregon got it started last week with a 4-3 win over Stoughton. It is the first time Oregon has beaten Stoughton in school history.
The party was short-lived however as Edgewood swooped in and beat Oregon 6-4 to cap off the week. Tuesday night Edgewood faces off against Stoughton in what should be an excellent game.
Around the rest of the state, Wausau West and Eau Claire Memorial held onto the top two spots and won't budge until they are beaten. The teams square off on Dec. 23.
Notre Dame Academy beat honorable mention Green Bay United and honorable mention Verona to move up into the third spot vacated by Stoughton.
Marquette picked up another one-goal victory (all five wins on the season have been by one goal) to slide into the four spot.
Ashwaubenon knocked off #6 Waupaca to claim the five spot. Superior slid from #7 to #8 with a tie over Minnesota opponent Cambridge-Isanti.
Waupaca rounds out the Top Ten in the #10 spot, sliding down from #6 with their loss to Ashwaubenon.
