Vipers' Groth decides to make one more go at coaching boys hockey

Randy Groth set hockey coaching aside in 2008 when he resigned from the La Crescent High School job to focus on work and family.

 Two years later, he went with a group of friends to the University of Wisconsin men's hockey outdoor game at Camp Randall Stadium.

Talk over a pre-game dinner turned to coaching, and the talk eventually got serious.
