The Warriors spotted the host Thunderbirds a four goal lead and battled all night to catch the persistent T-Birds. Senior Eric Behrend's goal with 3:31 in regulation evened the score at seven a side. It was the only time Waunakee would be tied with Baraboo on the scoreboard.

Just 35 seconds into overtime a rebound put back by the T-Birds ended the game, ending any hope of a Warrior win.

Junior Jason Ford had a pair of goals and three helpers in the loss. The Warriors bring their 3-3 record back to the friendly confines of The Ice Pond on Tues. 12/14 to face Badger North foe Sauk Prairie.
