La Crosse co-op fell to McDonell in the season opener for both teams. The third period was action packed, as six of the seven goals were scored.

Victor Bourget scored twice and Marco Ortiz scored a goal and assisted on two others to help lift Regis/McDonell/Bloomer. Garrett Nowak added a goal and an assist.
