CMH/Pius boys win two hockey games

   MILWAUKEE – After losing its first game of the Paul Meyer Memorial Tournament on Friday and dropping into the consolation bracket, the Catholic Memorial/Pius co-op high school boys hockey team won two games Saturday at the Kern Center to finish fifth in the eight-team field.
   Kyle Fink’s third goal of the game at 5:18 of overtime gave CMH/Pius a 5-4 victory over Middleton.
   Fink, a Memorial senior, was assisted by Memorial junior Sam Chapin.
   After scoring four goals in the first period, two by Fink, Memorial didn’t score again in regulation and Middleton tied the game with a minute left in the third period.
   Chapin and Memorial senior Josh Campbell also had goals. Memorial sophomore Nate Gentile had two assists, while Memorial seniors Kieran Gilbert and Cody Dixon each had an assist.
   Memorial then downed Prairie Ridge, Ill., 3-1 as Dixon scored twice and Fink once. Gilbert and Memorial seniors Sean Waite and Anthony Soo Hoo each had assists.
