Five Marathon County teams are once again joining forces in their Hockey Against Hunger fundraiser.

Wausau West, Wausau East, D.C. Everest, Mosinee, and the Central Wisconsin Storm girls' team are teaming up to defeat hunger in central Wisconsin.

But HAH 2010 chairperson Bridget Leonhard wants to take it one step further by asking teams statewide to join in this worthwhile cause.

"How cool would that be to watch what many can do across the hockey community?" asked Leonhard.

The five teams will raise money by holding prize raffles, selling t-shirts, and accepting donations, especially during the Marathon Cup tournament held in mid-December at Greenheck Fieldhouse in Schofield.
