Red Hawks post 11 wins in sophomore season

In its first-ever season (2014-15), the Milton High boys hockey team won just three of 17 games.

This past season, the Red Hawks more than tripled their win total and showed they could compete better with some of the better teams in the Badger South Conference and southern Wisconsin area.

Milton finished with a regular-season record of 11-12, including a 3-7 mark in league play, which placed it fifth. The Red Hawks’ second season came to an end just like the first – with a loss at Greendale in the first round of the WIAA playoffs.

Despite the improved record, head coach Dennis Quinn said he’s not all about wins and losses.
