Raider skaters head back to state for first time since winning title in '04

Saturday's 4-0 victory over New Richmond was special to the Raider boys hockey team for a lot of reasons.

After three straight years of earning the No. 1 seed, only to lose in the sectional final on the No. 2 team's home ice, the top-ranked Raiders finally reversed that trend. The victory sends Hudson to the WIAA State Tournament for the first time since winning it all in 2004. But perhaps most importantly, it’s simply a positive reflection on the Hudson hockey community.
