RWD Grounds Eagles

RWD and Sauk Prairie met for the third time on Tuesday evening, but unfortunately for the Eagles the result was the same as the previous two times.  RWD was able to get on the board with a goal by Logan Marsich at 6:59 of the first with Dylan Brown assisting on the play.  The lead was increased to two, when Brown scored with an assist from Chris Jones with 6:07 remaining in the first period.  Brown collected his second goal of the evening at the 13:02 mark with an assist from Tarren Gruber.  The first period came to an end with RWD leading 3-0.

Marsich bumped RWD's lead to 4 at 4:19 of the second with Brown assisting on the goal.  Brown collected his third goal of the night with Gruber and Jones assisting at the 10:25 mark.  Marsich completed his hat trick with 2:28 left in the period with an assist from Chris Jones.  RWD led 6-0 at the end of two periods.

Zach Arneson scored with 6:03 remaining in the game with an assist from Riley Luehman as RWD went up by 7.  The scoring was completed for the evening as Jacob Ely scored with an assist from Ben Jones at 13:58 of the third period.  Mike Olson finished the game with 10 saves for RWD.  Dakota Pickhard had 10 saves for Sauk Prairie in 25 minutes, while Nik Bolin had 23 saves in 26 minutes.

RWD will travel to West Salem on Thursday, February 18th.  The will play the West Salem Panthers at 7:30 PM and the game will be broadcast on Magnum Media's B102.9
