Appleton United defeated Mosinee 6-3 Saturday night to win the 18th annual Community Parks Holiday tournament at the K.B. Willett Arena.
United (15-0) scored five goals in the first period before Mosinee scored two in the second to cut the lead to 5-2.
Nathan Zilisch scored a hat trick for AU, while Trenton Bliss added a pair of goals.
United outshot Mosinee (7-6) by a tally of 40-18. Dylan Phinney made 15 stops for United, while Zach Bednar had 34 saves for Mosinee.
