Four Wings players land on all-JRM team

The Waukesha Wings earned the 2015 Joe Raymond Memorial (JRM) title by defeating KMMO by a score of 2-0 Wednesday night at Nagawaukee Ice Arena.

Waukesha gained its second title in the last three years with the win after losing to KMMO 4-1 in last year's JRM championship game.

John Marino, a close friend of the late Raymond, is an integral part in the success of the JRM tourney.

"(It was) another successful tourney," Marino said in an email. "The championship (was) in front of a full house at Nagawaukee Park."

The 17th annual event included: Janesville, Fond du Lac Springs, Brookfield/Catholic Memorial, and St. Louis St. John Vianney.

The All-JRM tournament team was made up of:

  • G Adam Spano, Waukesha
  • D Jake Berry, Waukesha
  • F Ian Malcolmson, Waukesha
