Brookfield scored just 31 seconds into the game and added two more in the next eight minutes for a 3-0 lead, but the Lakeshore Lightning scored the next seven goals to take a 7-3 victory Friday night in the USM Hockey Classic at Uihlein Ice Arena.

Hayley Brown scored four times and added an assist for Lakeshore, who improved to 3-4 on the young season.

Tealin Robinson, Alyssa Ragon, and Ellen Hill scored for Brookfield, who dropped to 1-4-1.

Erin Connolly stopped 17 shots for the win, while Brookfield's Grace Elliot made 20 saves.
