Janesville Owner McCoshen Stays True to Talent in State

Former Player of the Year finalists are staying in state and finding roster spots with the Janesville Jets of the NAHL. Janesville, in its second year in the league, has two POTY finalists returning from last season.

Coming back for his second season is local boy (Janesville Parker grad) Ross Mauermann (2009). Ross was joined on last year's team by Tyler Sorensen of Madison Edgewood (2008),  Pat Dalbec of Superior (2009) and late in the season by Brian Berger of Arrowhead (2010).

With Berger and Mauermann, this season the Jets grabbed  a few more in Monona Grove finalist Russell Blaser (2010), Jordan Tredinnick of Onalaska (2009),  Derek Knetter of Wausau West (2010), and Tony Kujava of Green Bay Notre Dame Academy (2010).

The Janesville Jets have the most Wisconsin players in the NAHL. And that is no surprise with Bill McCoshen as one of the team owners. McCoshen, who is involved with the WEHL league and Team Wisconsin, stated to me before that his team will have more Wisconsin players than any team in the league.

So far, so good.
