The Carl Valimont era of the Arrowhead boys hockey program was one of the most successful in school history. He coached the Warhawks for 11 seasons, rolling up an impressive record of 178-68-9, a winning mark of 72 percent.
In that run, he led the Warhawks two a pair of WIAA state tournament appearances, including the only boys hockey state championship in Waukesha County history in 2009. Only three teams from southeastern Wisconsin have ever captured state titles.
He resigned in February of 2010. But he's back.
