Won state with USM girls team last year

By Rick Johns and Luke Houdek--

Following an intensive search and interview process, we are excited to announce that Jason Woods has been named the head boys’ hockey coach.

Jason has been the head coach for the USM girls’ co-op hockey program for the past seven years, after having served for two years as the Greendale boys’ co-op  head coach and three years with the Brookfield Central boys’ varsity program.

In his seven years at USM, the girls’ co-op team appeared in the sectional finals six times, making three state appearances and winning the state championship this past season. Jason concludes his time as head girls’ hockey coach with a record of 134-46-7.

Along with his new role, Jason will continue to serve as the director of the Polly and Henry Uihlein Ice Arena, and will also continue to work with the Milwaukee Winter Club in various capacities.

Jason has done great things for the hockey community at USM, and we know that his passion and work ethic will carry over into his new role. We are confident that he will carry on the strong tradition of the boys’ hockey program.

We will immediately begin a search for our next girls’ co-op hockey head coach.
