JANESVILLE—The Rock County Fury had no answer for Erin Connolly on Saturday.
The Lakeshore goalie stopped all 16 shots she faced in leading her team to 1-0 win over the area's co-op girls hockey team.
Rock County (4-10-1) was outshot 38-16.
“We did not do what we needed to do when we got the puck,” Rock County coach Darrel Moore said. “We were slow in moving our feet and making decisions. We threw the puck blindly too much tonight.
“And Lakeshore won most of the one-on-one battles. When you put all those things together, it is easy to see why we lost.”
Molly Gross made 37 saves for Rock County.
The Fury host Stoughton on Tuesday night in Beloit.
