Ty Pelton-Byce walked out of the Madison Memorial locker room Monday night at Madison Ice Arena shirtless, a toy Spartan helmet atop his head and the refrains of Starship’s 1987 pop hit “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” blaring through the speakers behind him.
That was after the team photo on the ice with the shiny, silver Culver’s Cup, which he helped the Spartans win for the first time by scoring twice in a 3-1 victory over archrival Madison West.
