Appleton United puts three on girls all-state hockey team

Stars' Ally Fox also honored

Marcus Nejedlo likes a “200-foot player,” and he had three pretty special ones this season.

The Appleton United girls’ hockey coach praised the United’s Emma Kohl, Natalie West and Molly McKeever for being factors on both ends of the ice, and the trio was rewarded recently by being named to the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association all-state team.

Kohl, a senior defender, was named to the first team. West, a junior forward, made the second team, and McKeever, a junior forward, earned honorable mention. Ally Fox of the Fox Cities Stars, a sophomore forward, also made the second team.
