The 2014 Sectional Finals will start Friday evening with two games and continue on Saturday with two more.

Goaltending - Carlie Christensen 51 saves out of 52 shots on goal for a .981 save percentage and a 0.50 goals against average.
These two teams played on February 8th for their only meeting on the season. The Fusion won that game 6-3. Andrea Eliason led the way for the Fusion with 4 goals, while Emma Peterson had 2 goals for the Spartans. Justine Stenberg stopped 44 of 50 shots, while Carlie Christensen saw 32 shots and stopped 29 of them.
Superior has had an up and down season. They have dealt with more than their share of injuries this year and seem to be getting back in stride. Justine Stenberg has had many games, where she has played exceptional between the pipes.
The Fusion don’t have the standout scorer this season, which they had in their three trips to Madison. However, they do have a balanced attack with 3 or 4 players that step in to fill the void. Also, they have Carlie Christensen in net and have confidence in her to be able to keep the opponent off the board.
Northland Pines Eagles
Scoring - Cali Sanborn 2g, 1a; Jessie Wilkins 0g, 2a; Emily Saltenberger 2g, 0a; Allison Sauvola 1g, 1a; Kali Ebert 1g, 1a; Sallie Spencer 1g, 1a and Amanda Sergent 0g, 1a
Goaltending - Jenna Paez (102 minutes) 23 saves on 25 shots for a .920 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average

Goaltending - Lisa Fowle (75 minutes) 9 saves on 9 shots; Renee Hosler 2 saves on 2 shots.
These two teams played each other in the middle of January and the Storm won the game 7-1. The Eagles were outshot 42 to 7 in the game.
Northland Pines has held their opponents to 25 shots through the first two games of the playoffs. They played an extremely close game against the Northern Edge and advance with a 2-1 win.
The Storm have not allowed a goal in the playoffs and have only allowed 11 shots on goal through both of their playoff games. This has been a staple of the Storm teams and opponents only average around 12 shots on goal per game.

Goaltending - Jeanalyn Schindler (84 minutes 10 seconds) 21 saves on 22 shots for a .955 save percentage and a 0.61 goals against average. Alli Christenson (17 minutes 50 seconds) 1 save on 1 shot.
This will be the second time these two teams have played. Onalaska won the meeting during the regular season 5-2 and are looking for their third trip to the Mad City in three years. Onalaksa is led by Theresa Knutson on offense and in order to defeat the Hilltoppers you need to slow Knutson down. However, the Hilltoppers do have Jacyn Reeves and Jamie Weilandt to help pick up the offense if the need arises. Reeves has been stellar on defense after having been moved late in the season.
The Lynx have been led in scoring during the playoffs by Amanda Holman with four goals. Holman had 8 goals and 3 assists during the regular season. Jordann Herrling led the Metro Lynx with 12 goals during the regular season.

Goaltending - Lindsey Strainis (68 minutes) 11 saves on 13 shots for an .846 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. Audrie Murphy 3 saves on 3 shots
This will be the third meeting between the two teams. Bay Area has won the two previous games (2-1 and 5-3) with both games being on their home ice. The Ice Bears have one loss this season that was their season opener against the Central Wisconsin Storm. USM had three losses during the regular season, 2 at the hands of the Ice Bears and 1 to the Central Wisconsin Storm.
