The WINGS advanced into Sectionals on Friday with a win over Kenosha 10 - 0 in the Region Final game.  Senior Captains, Zed Dietrich, Jake Kupsky and Coe Venes, lead the team into the playoffs with big performances while setting some personal milestones on the way.

Zed Dietrich, playing in his 100th game as a WING, tallied 2 goals and 5 assists with help from line mates Ian Malcolmson (4 goals, 2 assists) and Logan Geisness (2 goals, 3 assists)  The 5 assists put Dietrich at 153 career assists.  On the year, Dietrich has 39 goals, 53 assists for a total of 92 points.  His 7 pt performance make him the first WING to reach 90 points and 50 assists in a single season.  

Jake Kupsky continued his dominance between the pipes putting up 18 saves in his 9th shutout this season, a personal and team record.  Kupsky improves his save percentage to .945 with 605 saves on 640 shots on the season.       

The WINGS play next in the Sectional Semi Final on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 8:30pm at Nagawaukee Ice Arena against Janesville.
