The No. 7 seeded Huskies staved off a challenge from visiting Medford on Tuesday, overcoming a 2-0 first period deficit to earn the 3-2 victory. Now they’ll square off against No. 2 seed Regis/McDonell, the first meeting of the two city teams since Nov. 26, 2011 and only the second in program history.
“We’re just going to get right into it,” freshman Curtis Goodale said after Tuesday’s win. “We’ve got a quick turnaround and they’ve been resting, so we’ve got to get after it in practice and hopefully come away with a win.”
