Fresh off its first playoff win in eight years, the Eau Claire North hockey team got busy readying for its next challenge — winning its second.

The No. 7 seeded Huskies staved off a challenge from visiting Medford on Tuesday, overcoming a 2-0 first period deficit to earn the 3-2 victory. Now they’ll square off against No. 2 seed Regis/McDonell, the first meeting of the two city teams since Nov. 26, 2011 and only the second in program history.
