As you may know, Trent Swarthout, (former Elmbrook/Brookfield Hockey player 1995-2006) suffered a horrific skiing accident just over a year ago, severely injuring his spinal cord and causing him to lose most of his mobility.

To this day, Trent has not given up hope that he will recover from his injuries and walk on his own again someday. His constant drive and family's unwavering love and support since his accident has helped him show remarkable improvements.

His therapy has brought him to a point where he needs a specialized personal therapy bike (MotoMed2) that he can use at home to continue his therapy. In order to help Trent receive this $8,000 piece of equipment, several families connected to the Swarthout's through their hockey ties, have united to host a CHARITY EVENT on Trent's behalf.

You are one of the many people who have crossed paths or been touched by Trent Swarthout and his family. We are reaching out to you and countless friends, family, teammates, coaches and the community to support this wonderful cause.

We're "SWINGIN' FOR TRENT" on Sunday, JUNE 2, 2013, 11am – 3pm at SWINGTIME in Germantown!! Please see the attachment regarding details of this very fun, family oriented event which will include a cook-out, putting contests, Mini-golf challenge, "Chuck-a-Putt" contest, Silent Auction and batting cage fun.

It truly will be a great day to join together for Trent and the Swarthout family. We hope you consider coming, RAIN OR SHINE, to show your support and help Trent on his road to recovery!
