Zac Keryluk, Verona put Big Eight title on ice with rout of Middleton

When Zac Keryluk made the decision to stay with his high school team for his senior season instead of testing the junior ranks, the possibility of nights like he had Thursday almost certainly played a part.

But even the Verona forward had to admit he didn’t see this kind of win coming.

“It’s everything I wanted,” Keryluk said. “(But) we respect Middleton just like any other team in our conference. We didn’t think we were going to steamroll them like we did.”
