Brookfield - Whitefish Bay/Nicolet/Shorewood can get a quick goal to tie the game, and the co-op hockey team can also score often to take complete control of the game.
That's the formula the Storm used Saturday night to beat Brookfield/Catholic Memorial, 5-2, at The Ponds.
"We can be explosive when we play the hockey style we like to play," WNS coach Maco Balkovec said. "We've had a lot of really quick outbursts this year."
WNS is 6-1, with its only loss by one goal to Arrowhead. The team has scored at least three goals every game and has won its last four by a combined 22-5.
