Team Wisconsin players named for Minnesota NIT

Twenty players will compete in Minnesota NIT in mid-April



The twenty player roster for the Minnesota NIT was selected today after two days of tryouts at the South Wood County Rec Center in Wisconsin Rapids March 31-April 1.

The players were chosen from a tryout squad of 45 players.

Players selected are:

Kyle Lee, Wausau West
Eddie Matsushima, Verona
Logan Murphy, Chippewa Falls
Drew Otto, Menomonie
Tyler Richison, Amery
Jay Routheau, Green Bay United
Peter Schmitz, Homestead
Alex Shuchuk, Madison West
Scott Sibik, Onalaska

 Team Wisconsin training camp will be held April 14-15 at the Oregon Community Sports Center in Oregon, WI. Included in the weekend's activities will be three hours of practice and one game against the Oregon Outlaws of the Great Lakes Hockey League. This team is comprised of many former Wisconsin high school hockey players and several D3 college players.
