Team Wisconsin squads fall just short



U16 Boys--Team Wisconsin

TW U16 season came to an end with a loss at the hands of the Chicago Mission 3-1 Sunday afternoon.

TW parent Marc Davison called it a 'great game.'

U16 Girls--Team Wisconsin

TW U16 took a tough-luck loss in overtime to the St. Louis Lady Blues 4-3 Sunday morning to end their season.

U14 Boys--Team Wisconsin

Although TW U14's beat Chicago Mission 3-2 this afternoon, they fell just a bit short of advancing to Nationals due to the St. Louis Blues 2-1 victory over Russell Stover. The Blues finished with seven points while TW was one point short.

The U18 Milwaukee Junior Admirals earned a Nationals bid on the strength of their two wins over Russell Stover 4-1, and the St. Louis Blues 4-3.

The Jr. Ads were scheduled to play the Chicago Fury but that game has been cancelled due to having no effect on the qualifier. 

The Tier I U18 Nationals will take place in Williamsville, NY March 28-April1.

The Madison Caps U19 girls beat the St. Louis Lady Blues Sunday morning 8-1 to advance to the U19 Nationals that will be held at Marlborough, MA March 28-April 1.

Chicago Mission won the championship spot, but a second team from the Central District was also added to the Nationals line-up.
