Mr. Hockey nominee Eddie Matsushima scored four goals and teammate Michael Stevens assisted on four Thursday as the top-seeded Verona Wildcats cruised 7-0 over eighth-seeded Monona Grove.
Verona moves on to host fifth-seeded Waunakee at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The Warriors, led by fellow Mr. Hockey finalist Jason Ford, are coming off a 7-6 victory against fourth-seeded Madison Edgewood.
