Milo continues the Boyle legacy as a Spartan

Milo Boyle continues the family legacy as a Madison Memorial Spartan. Milo’s dad, Dr. Robert Boyle, was captain of Madison Memorial’s 1988 WIAA State Championship team. Milo’s older brothers, Will, Trey, and Riley played for Memorial, and younger brother, Finn, is currently a 10th grader for the Spartans.

Milo Boyle has played on Memorial’s varsity team for four seasons, and he has been team captain for two seasons. As an 11th grader last season, Milo was named 2nd Team All State by the Wisconsin Hockey Coaches Association and 1st Team Big Eight all conference.

Milo was selected to play on Wisconsin’s U18 team in the highly scouted and prestigious National Invitational Tournament (NIT) in April 2025. Milo also played for Team Wisconsin this past fall in the Elite League, which is considered as the best league below juniors.

“This is Milo’s fourth year playing varsity for Memorial. He’s amassed 64 goals and 139 points. Both of those put him in the top 15 of all players in the history of Madison Memorial hockey, with the potential to move into the top 10 by seasons end. Milo is a tremendous skater with great vision and puck handling skills, and an ability to escape even the tightest spaces. He is a second-year captain and has been a great leader on and off the ice for our team. He’s been an exemplary Spartan student-athlete all four years. Milo’s been great to coach!” Peter Brenner, Madison Memorial Head Coach
