The Midwest Women’s Collegiate Hockey Exposure Camp will hold its thirteenth annual camp this summer at the Cornerstone Community Ice Arena in De Pere, June 13th and 14th. The camp that began in 2013 with forty-three players now draws over one-hundred fifty players each year. This years camp will feature players from twenty different states, Canada and Hungary.

The two-day camp features skill development and small area games sessions, along with each player participating in four full-ice games. The camp is open to sophomore, junior and senior players interested in playing hockey beyond high school. Registration for the camp begins Friday afternoon and the camp concludes Saturday evening.

The camp features D3 college coaches from across the country including St. Norbert, Lawrence, Marian, MSOE, Concordia-Wisconsin, Trine, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Superior, St. Mary's, St. Benedicts, Dubuque, Beloit College, Curry College and Wilkes University. Coaches in attendance will participate on ice with players and evaluate them throughout the weekend. Three of this year’s coaching group were once players who attended the camp.

The camp also features a question-and-answer seminar for parents and players with the college coaches.

The camp was started by former Wisconsin Badger player and high school and college coach Mike Cowan. “"It's a great opportunity to learn about college hockey, interact with the coaches and gain exposure to potential schools at an affordable price."

There is limited space available in this summers camp and interested players should contact Mike Cowan 920-313-1678 or at mgcowan96@gmail.com. More information regarding the camp is also available at www.mwch-exposurecamp.com.
