Do you want to be a college hockey player? If you answer yes, the JOG College Showcase being held in Chicago May 2-4 is an opportunity to showcase your skills and learn more about club hockey. The JOG College Showcase has a boys and girls division and is open for enrollment until the event is full.
College club teams are governed by the ACHA, not the NCAA. For more info regarding college club hockey and the ACHA, please visit: https://www.achahockey.org
“Players register individually and are assigned to a team. Each team has one game on Friday. On Saturday each team plays two games and between the games we have an educational panel where players can meet and get info about the colleges and teams (ACHA club teams). On Sunday each team has one game. The boys are sophomores and older. The girls are freshman and older.” Andy Pape, Coordinator of Amateur Hockey Programs, Chicago Blackhawks and Site Coordinator for ACHA Showcase
