Roeming slaps in go-ahead goal

Shanda Roeming assisted on a goal and scored the go-ahead power-play goal just over 15 minutes into the third period Friday to push the MSO Icebergs past the host Viroqua Blackhawks 2-1.

Knotted at 1-all, Roeming fired a clean slapshot from the top of the umbrella power-play setup through all kinds of traffic in front of the net.

Despite the win, the Icebergs continued to struggle finding the back of the net early on.
